Sahra Spa & Haman

The Sahra Spa at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is inspired by the natural landscape of the Mojave Desert and the special relationship its people have traditionally had with the land. Reimagining Las Vegas for the millennial generation (who not only seek indulgence, but search also for a deeper sense of luxury), the design is based on sentiment and quality with a profound sense of place.

Stone plays a key role in the space (the spa is constructed of 420 tons of salmon-hued sandstone) and is used with strong linear and sculptural elements to create a sense of grandeur and monumentality. Entering through “the space between”, a narrow tunnel that ends at a 22 feet waterfall, guests are welcomed in the serenity lounge, where a sense of calm prevails. As reviewed by Condé Nast Traveler: “With its 1,100 sqft hammam, the Sahra Spa is the ultimate urban retreat.”
